Liver Health Assessment

Non-invasive evaluation of liver fat and fibrosis using FibroScan technology, integrated into a broader metabolic health strategy.

Overview

Understanding Metabolic Liver Disease

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is now the most common liver condition in the developed world — and it is deeply connected to metabolic dysfunction. When fat accumulates in the liver, it can progress to inflammation (NASH), fibrosis, and eventually cirrhosis. Yet many patients are unaware they have it until damage is advanced.

FibroScan provides a non-invasive way to assess both liver fat (via controlled attenuation parameter, or CAP) and liver stiffness (a marker of fibrosis). This allows us to detect early-stage disease, monitor progression or improvement, and guide treatment decisions — all without the need for liver biopsy in most cases.

We integrate FibroScan into a broader metabolic evaluation, because liver health is not separate from metabolic health — it is a central part of it. Weight, insulin resistance, body composition, and dietary patterns all influence the liver, and addressing those factors is essential to reversing hepatic fat accumulation and preventing progression.

Protect Your Liver Health

Early detection and intervention can prevent progression of fatty liver disease. If you have metabolic risk factors, a FibroScan assessment may be an important step.
